
2024 Volleyball Schedule Announced

The 2024 Syracuse Volleyball schedule is here! The Orange will play a 32-match regular season, including hosting Le Moyne, Iowa State and Cornell for a home tournament September 19-22. Admission to all home games is FREE and all home matches will be played at the Women's Building on Syracuse University's campus.Â
Syracuse begins the season with a double-header against NJIT and Lafayette on Aug. 30. The Orange and Le Moyne are hosting the Salt City Classic which features, NJIT, Lafayette and Canisius. The Orange will wrap up the tournament on Aug. 31 against Canisius, the match will be played on Le Moyne's campus.Â
'Cuse hits the road for back-to-back weekends for tournaments at Columbia (Sept. 6-7) and Siena (Sept. 12-14) where it will face multiple opponents. Syracuse will take on the Lions in New York City and will face Fordham and Manhattan as well. The Siena Tournament features a game against the Saints on Sept. 12 followed by contests vs. NJIT and Idaho on Sept. 13 and 14, respectively.Â
A cross town rivalry match with Le Moyne is slated for Sept. 19 and the Orange welcome Iowa State and Cornell to the Women's Building the following weekend, Sept. 21-22, for the Syracuse Invitational.
Atlantic Coast Conference play begins in late September with a road trip to North Carolina where the Orange will play the Tar Heels on Friday, Sept. 27 and Duke on Sept. 29. Syracuse's ACC home opener is slated for Oct. 4 vs. new ACC member SMU. The Orange will play Pittsburgh, which reached he national semifinals in back-to-back seasons on Oct. 6.Â
Syracuse hits the West Coast for the first time to face new ACC members Stanford (Oct. 11) and Cal (Oct. 12) before returning for four-straight home conference matches against Miami (Oct. 18), Florida State (Oct. 20), Virginia (Oct. 25) and Virginia Tech (Oct. 27) to close out the remainder of October.Â
November begins with a pair of ACC matches at NC State and Wake Forest on the first and third of the month. Syracuse will host Louisville (Nov. 8) and Notre Dame (Nov. 10) before going south to Georgia Tech and Clemson, Nov. 15-17. It will be back-to-back matches vs. the Eagles in late November when SU hosts Boston College for a mid-week match on Nov. 20 and will travel to Chestnut Hill the following weekend for the second of two conference clashes vs. BC.Â
The Cal Bears make their first trip to the Salt City since joining the ACC on Nov. 27 for Syracuse's final home game and 'Cuse will wrap up the regular season on Nov. 29 at Virginia Tech.Â
