Syracuse women's basketball (9-13, 3-8 ACC) returns home to take on Wake Forest (8-14, 1-10 ACC) on Sunday, Feb 9. Tip-off inside the JMA Wireless Dome is set for 2 p.m., with live coverage on ACC Network Extra.
Tickets are on sale now at Cuse.com/tickets.
Syracuse is back at the Dome after defeating Virginia Tech on the road, 93-87, Thursday night. The win secured Syracuse's 800th program victory, fueled by all five Orange starters scoring in double figures. Sophie Burrows led the Orange on the way to a career-high 28-points and her second consecutive game setting a career-high in scoring. Burrows shot 9-for-15 overall and 8-for-12 from the three-point land, just one triple away from tying the program record. Â
In the win over the Hokies, Dominique Camp registered her first double-double at SU with 12 points and 10 assists. SU's 24 team assists marked the highest by a road team at Cassell Coliseum since UConn in 2001. Syracuse has registered at least 20 assists in consecutive games, improving to 4-1 when hitting that benchmark.
Wake Forest is coming off a road loss against No. 22 Florida State, 97-68, last Sunday. Demeara Hinds led the Demon Deacons with 18 points and 13 rebounds, registering her second double-double of the season. Wake Forest has lost nine of its last 10 games, with four of those losses coming against ranked opponents.
The Demon Deacons are led by head coach Megan Gebbia, who is in her third season at the helm of the program.
Syracuse leads the all-time series versus Wake Forest 9-3, which includes a 5-0 mark at home for the Orange. Since taking over at Syracuse in 2022, Felisha Legette-Jack is 2-0 against the Demon Deacons. With a win, Legette-Jack would be three wins away from 400 as a college head coach.
Fans can watch the action live on ACC Network Extra or follow live stats on cuse.com.
Tickets for all remaining home games can be purchased on Cuse.com/tickets or by calling the JMA Wireless Dome Box Office at 888-DOME-TIX.
