
Four Ready for Senior All-American Game

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. – Four freshmen on the Syracuse University field hockey team will partake in the inaugural Longstreth Senior All-American Game this weekend.
On Friday, July 11, Karsin Beatty, Taylor Bigbie, Sammie Goin, and Tane King will head for The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania for a full day of speakers, player panels, and field hockey.
Bigbie and King will pair up on Team North, coached by Conestoga High School head coach Regan Marscher, while Beatty and Goin will join forces for Team South under Delmar (Del.) High School head coach Jodi Hollamon.
Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Field 9 at The Proving Grounds (Villanova University Field). Formatting for the game includes two 35-minute halves with a 10-minute halftime. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the public. Concessions will be open for food and beverage purchases.
Prior to the game, the players will participate in a LaceUp Leadership Seminar with speakers Afty Coffey, Andrea Wieland, and Ange Bradley, who retired from Syracuse following the 2022 season and led the Orange to the 2015 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship. Bradley currently serves as the United States Women's National Team U21 head coach.
There will also be a player panel with current and former USA Field Hockey players Kealsie Reeb, Jillian Wolgemuth, and Brooke DeBerdine.
