Two Meets on Tap This Weekend for Track

The Syracuse track and field will compete in a pair of meets this weekend, beginning on Friday at the John Thomas Terrier Classic.

ORANGE ENTRIES
On Friday, Syracuse has five runners entered in the 3,000-meter run, which will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Emma Eastman, Jayden Harberts, Madeline Heintz, Gretta Johnson and Mackenzie Cook will compete in the 3k for the Orange.
On Saturday, 13 men will take to the track. Charles Guerrera, Ruben Rojas Betanzos and Asher Danielson will race in the mile beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Assaf Harari, Peter Walsdorf, Ben Gabelman, Connor Ackley, Drew Zundell, Julian Franjieh, Louis Small, Sam Ricchiuti, Connell Alford and Omar Alsaidi are entered in the 3,000-meter run, which will get underway at 5:10 p.m.

ORANGE ENTRIES
Action will get underway at 1 p.m. in the 60-meter hurdles. Isaiah Hayes and Tawakal Omar will compete for the men, followed by Taleea Buxton, Emeline Clark and Ivana Richards for the women. The finals will take place one hour later.
At 1:20 p.m., Nasir Adams will race in the 60-meter dash, before Esther Ganda, Jada Williams and Bianca Williams race in the women's event. Finals for the 60-meter dash will begin at 2:15 p.m.
Eamon Burke and Tristan Thurneysen are entered in the men's mile, which kicks off at 1:35 p.m., followed 10 minutes later by Maisie Burns, Beatriz Fernandes, Alycia Hart, Sarah Lawson and Blake Parker in the women's mile.
Shayla Ford, Nicea Jones and Richards will race in the 400-meter dash at 2:35 p.m. Samantha Bloch and Kayla Harding will take on the 800-meter run at 2:55 p.m.
Leah Bello, Mia Hernandez, Sierra Joseph and Nylah Robinson will close the day at 3:10 p.m. in the 200-meter dash.
