Sophomore Year:Played in 40 games, starting twice in the outfield … Went 2-for-9 with nine runs scored … Was 1-for-3 in her first collegiate start in game two at San Diego … Registered her first career hit in game one of that doubleheader … Awarded the team’s Lucille Verhulst Sportswoman of the Year Award … Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the fall.
Freshman Year:Used in 15 games as a pinch runner and once as a pinch hitter … Walked in her only plate appearance … Scored five runs … Named to the athletic director's honor roll in the spring … BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
Prior to Syracuse: Graduated from Waterloo High School … Took classes at Finger Lakes Community College in the spring of 2002 … Did not attend school in the fall of 2002.
High School: Five-year member of the varsity at Waterloo High School … Named first-team All-State in 2001 … First-team all-conference choice from 19997-2001 … Named league’s most valuable player in 2000 and 2001 … Helped team to Section V Class B championship in 1997 and 1999 … Also lettered four times in soccer and twice in basketball … First-team all-league in soccer in 2000 … Was active in other extracurricular activities, including the ski club and National Honor Society … Elected class president.
