Senior Year Track (2023):
Indoor: Earned a PR mile time in the Garden State Collegiate Open, finishing 3rd with a 5:16.60 (2/17)... finished 5th in the CAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with a 5000m time of 18:35.08 (2/22-23)
Outdoor: Finished 18th in the Big Five Meet 1500m with a PR time of 4:52.63 (4/1)... Also earned a 10000m PR time of 37:50.02 in the CAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships to finish 12th (5/5-6).
Senior Year XC (2022):
Competed in the IC4A/ECAC XC Championship, CAA Cross Country Championships, and Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships.
Junior Year Track (2021-22):
Indoor: Finished 9th in the Great Dane Classic with a PR time of 10:23.89 in the 3000m (1/28)... finished 9th in the 2022 Boston University Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invite in the 5000m with a PR time of 17:54 (2/5/22)... Finished 1st overall in the Monmouth University Winter Collegiate Invitation with a time of 10:29.84 (2/11/12).
Junior Year XC (2021):
Earned a personal best 6k time of 22:21.8 in the Lehigh Paul Short run (10/1).
Sophomore Year Track (2021-22):
Outdoor: Finished 12th in the Metro Atlantic Outdoor Championship 10000m (5/8-9).
Sophomore Year XC (Spring 2021):
Competed in the MAAC Cross Country Championships 6k (3/5).
Freshman Year Track (2020):
Indoor: Started off the season with a 7th place finish in the 3000m with a 10:52.86 time in the Wesley Brown Invitational (1/17-18) and earned 11th place in the Metro Atlantic Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/22-23).
Freshman Year XC (2019):
Set a personal best in the 4k with a 15:30 in the Monmouth University XC Kick-Off earning 3rd (9/7) and the 5k with a time of 19:44.6 (9/21) at the Henry Mercer Monmouth University Cross Country Invitational earning 41st.
Before Syracuse: Spent four years at Monmouth and attended Hillsborough High School.
Personal: Daughter to Maria and Avelino Tavares... has one older sister Natalie.
