l: Represented Orange field hockey at the National Futures Championship • Played field hockey, lacrosse, tennis and indoor track at Hereford H.S. • Served as team captain her senior season • Scored five goals and had 10 assists hear last season at Hereford H.S. • Was a member of the Hymax Club team from 2004-07 and the Futures Regional 7 team in 2006 • Was an all-state honorable mention in 2006 and was first-team all-division in 2006 and 2007 • Was a Baltimore County All-Star and a second-team all-state selection in 2007 • Named to the Baltimore All-County team in 2006 and 2007 • Received the MVP Award in 2007 from her team • Was also a member of the National Honor Society and a Class of 2008 Historian.Personal: Born March 1990 in Baltimore, Md. • Daughter of Anthony and Mary Ferdinando • One sister • Enrolled in the Whitman School of Management.
Ambitions in hockey: To be part of a Big East and National Championship team.

Why did you choose SU? I decided to attend Syracuse in order to get an excellent education while playing for a competitive Division I field hockey program.
