
Orangwomen Lose to Boston University In Tennis

BOSTON — The Syracuse University women's tennis team lost, 6-1, to Boston University, in Boston on Saturday, Feb. 16. The Orangewomen are 3-2 on the season.
Syracuse won the doubles point, taking two of three matches from the Terriers. At No.1 doubles, juniors Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia/School #528) and Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, CA/Calabasas) defeated Christina Causway and Lindsey Dynof, 8-2. At No. 2 doubles freshman Kristine Bech Holte (Oslo, Norway/Fagerborg vgs.) and sophomore Jessica Schlosser (Nedrow, NY/Christian Brothers Academy) defeated Elena deMendoza and Silvia Gugielmi, 8-4.
The Orangewomen head home to take on Seton Hall on Friday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. and Cornell on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. Both matches will be played at Drumlins Tennis Club.
