
Bech Holte's Comeback-Win Lifts SU Past The Hall

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse University women's tennis used four singles victories to defeat Seton Hall, 4-3, at Drumlins Tennis Club on Friday, Feb. 22. Syracuse is 3-0 at home this season and 4-2 overall. Seton Hall is 1-6.
With the match tied at three, freshman Kristine Bech Holte (Oslo, Norway/Fagerborg vgs.) came from behind to defeat Lorell Zamot at No. 4 singles. Bech Holte won the match 1-6, 7-6 (4), 6-2.
Sophomore Daniela Kaluskova (Prague, Czech/Gym Budjovicka) picked up two wins on the day. Kaluskova defeated Kyli Lassalle, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Kaluskova teamed with sophomore Alexa Konstand (Akron, OH/Revere High School) at No. 3 doubles. The pair produced SU's lone doubles win, defeating Jasmine Wolcott and Beth Dugan, 8-4.
Syracuse hosts Cornell Sunday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. at Drumlins Tennis Club.
