
Juliussen Earns SU's Lone Point in 6-1 Loss to Boston University

ORLANDO, Fla. - Senior Trine Lise Juliussen won at No. 1 singles for the second time during SU's spring break trip to Florida, but the Orangewomen tennis team lost to Boston University, 6-1, on Friday, March 12.
Juliussen defeated Lindsey Dynof, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (5) to earn Syracuse's only point of the match. The Terriers won the bottom four singles matches in straight sets, and were victorious at No. 2 in a third-set tiebreaker. Freshman Ashley Lipton lost to Elena deMendoza, 1-6, 6-3 (7) at the two-spot.
In doubles, Juliussen paired with sophomore Wei-Ming Leong, but lost to Aimee Charest and Dynof, 8-4. Seniors Jessica Schlosser and Marion Charlier lost at No. 2, 8-3, and freshmen Ashley Lipton and Kendyl Severino lost at No. 3, 8-4.
The Orangewomen play their final match of the trip on Saturday, March 13, against American at noon.
