
Amy Kee Garners BIG EAST Accolades

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Syracuse University freshman back Amy Kee was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor for her performance as the Orange earned at least a share of the BIG EAST regular-season title with its 5-3 victory at Villanova on Friday. It is Kee's sixth honor of the season, as she was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 19, the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 14 and to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Oct. 12, Sept. 21 and Aug. 31.
Kee recorded five points off two goals and an assist as the Orange secured the No. 1 seed in the BIG EAST Championship.
The fifth-ranked Syracuse University field hockey team concludes the regular-season on Halloween when SU hosts Rutgers at 1 p.m. Syracuse will honor senior forward Tracy Deitrick, graduate goalkeeper Ashleigh McGowan and junior back Lena Voelmle before the contest.
