SYRACUSE – The Syracuse women's basketball team welcomes University of New Hampshire to Manley Field House on Wednesday, December 30. The Orange and Wildcats have played each other six times, with each university winning three times.

The Wildcats are led by head coach, Kristin Cole and assistant coaches Tara (Boothe) Smith and Lauren Moore. Cole was named head coach on June 10 and is the fifth head coach in the 32-year history of the program. Previously she served as assistant coach at Xavier from 2002-07.

UNH completed the 2008-09 season with a record of 8-23 and 6-10 in the America East Conference. The Wildcats were knocked off by the Vermont Catamounts in the AE quarterfinals, 57-45.
