SYRACUSE - The Syracuse women's basketball game versus Dartmouth at the Carrier Dome on Sunday, December 13 will begin at 5 p.m. This is an hour earlier than the announced 6 p.m. start time.
The Orange is off to its best start in 31 years after its 70-54 defeat of Ohio on Dec. 6. With the win, both the Orange men and women are 8-0 for the first time in school history. The women were also 8-0 in 1978-79 and 10-0 in 1974-75.
The Orange holds a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series against the Big Green. The first game between the schools was held in 1980-81 in Syracuse, a close 82-76 SU win. The teams renewed their rivalry 20 years later with a match hosted by Dartmouth. The game was again close, with the Orange pulling out the win, 63-59.
