The Syracuse University field hockey team would like to invite its alumni, family and friends to its annual Alumni Game on April 24. Those interested please contact Gloria Nantulya or Lynn Farquhar for more information.

The eighth-ranked Syracuse University field hockey team had its season come to an end on Nov. 15 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Class of '52 Stadium on the campus of Princeton University. The fourth-ranked Princeton Tigers outscored Syracuse 5-0 in the second half to defeat Syracuse 7-3 and to advance to the Final Four. The Orange finished 2009 with an 18-4 record.

The back-to-back BIG EAST Regular Season Champions ended their season with a second round loss in the NCAA Tournament. It marked the second consecutive season SU won a NCAA Tournament game.

Syracuse will return 18 letterwinners and 10 starters in 2010.
