Syracuse University field hockey fans can now follow the Orange on Facebook. The Syracuse fan Facebook page will provide news, camp information and photos information about upcoming events.

SU celebrated its best season in program history. Syracuse became the nation's number one team in mid-October, making them the first the Orange the first SU women's team to hold the highest ranking. SU lost just one regular-season game, but avenged the defeat in the BIG EAST Championship game, defeating Connecticut, 1-0. In the NCAA Tournament, Syracuse defeated Massachusetts and Princeton by identical 3-2 scores to advance to the Final Four. There, the 'Cuse came out on the short end of yet another 3-2 score against second-ranked Wake Forest.
