The Orange will play its first televised match Oct. 2 at Rutgers since the 2007 season finale when SU hosted St. John's on ESPNU.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange men's soccer team's match at Rutgers on Friday, Oct. 2 will be televised on Verizon FiOS TV via tape-delay in the New Jersey area. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Yurcak Field

The Syracuse-Rutgers series dates back to 1995 when the Scarlet Knights first became members of the BIG EAST Conference. Since then, the Orange has scored six victories in the series, including a pair of wins at Yurcak Field.
