SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman Isabel Menard continued her eight-game point-scoring streak in Syracuse's 4-3 overtime loss to Quinnipiac at Tennity Ice Pavilion on Friday evening. The Orange opened up the scoring 11:23 into the first period when Mullan fired a shot in the middle of a scuffle in front of the net. Goaltender Victoria Vigilanti recorded a save off her pad, but Carrie-Mattimoe got a handle on the puck and hit it over the shoulder of Vigilanti for the 1-0 advantage. It was the fourth consecutive game the freshman has recorded a goal for the Orange, while Menard, who was also credited with the assist, extended her point-scoring streak to eight games, which is the longest in school history.

After Carrie-Mattimoe made a shot, Vigilanti hesitated to find the puck and Mullan slid the puck in for the goal. Two minutes later, Menard skated up the right post for her team-high tying 11th goal of the season.
Quinnipiac evened things up again 15 seconds later when it attacked the Syracuse goal and Eklund tapped the puck in to tie the game, 3-3, going into overtime.
Syracuse maintained possession in the opening minutes of the overtime, but once the Bobcats got handle on it, Flor skated from center ice and connected with the back of the net to settle the 4-3 score.
Schoedel recorded 30 saves, while Vigilanti turned aside 17-of-20 for Quinnipiac.
