Members of the Syracuse Alumni Group of Chicago cheered on the women's soccer squad when it took on DePaul.

Windy City Orange Turns Out to Support Women's Soccer

Members of the Windy City Orange, the Syracuse Alumni Club of Chicago, gathered to cheer on the women's soccer team at its game at DePaul last weekend. The group showed their support by wearing orange and starting the “Let's go Orange” cheer.

“I'd like to thank all of the alumni who were at the game for their support,” said Syracuse head coach Phil Wheddon after his team's 2-1 overtime loss to the Blue Demons. “I'm disappointed we didn't get a win for them.”

The Windy City Orange has done group outings to men's basketball games at DePaul, Marquette and Notre Dame as well as football contests at Notre Dame, Northwestern and Illinois. The soccer game was the organizations first live women's event.
