SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 2010 BIG EAST Champion field hockey team is currently being featured in Times Square in New York City after winning its third consecutive conference title, either regular-season or tournament.

American Eagle Outfitters (AEO), who sponsored the BIG EAST Tournament, constructed a display that stretches over 30 stories high on the side of the AEO building in Times Square. The display will be posted through Sunday, November 14 and includes a photo of the championship team and a congratulations message.

The Orange, who are 15-4 overall and had a perfect 6-0 record in league play, will make its third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. SU will face Penn State (14-5) in the first round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament on Saturday, November 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the Penn State Field Hockey Complex.
