Registration is now open for the 2010 Syracuse University Boys Soccer Camp. The camp will be held on the Syracuse campus and runs from July 11-15. It' s open to boys ages 10-19 and the cost is $520 for overnight campers and $395 for commuters.
Campers will receive training and instruction from some of the top college, ODP and international coaches in the world. All campers will also receive a T-Shirt and hand-sewn soccer ball. Room and board is included for overnight campers, while commuter tuition also includes lunch and dinner.
Orange head coach Ian McIntyre serves as camp director and his staff includes Matt Lawrence of the Crystal Palace Football Club (English Championship), James McElderry (Fordham), Ewan Seabrook (New Hampshire), Marshall Ray (Evansville) and Paul Cushion (Virginia ODP).
Daily camp sessions feature group training, skills instruction, small-sided games, full-sided game and more.
For goalkeepers, there is the Syracuse Soccer Goalkeeper Academy developed by SU assistant coach Mike Miller. Attendees will receive specialized instruction, including technical, tactical, physical and psychological training specific to the position complemented with highly-competitive game situations.
