
Orange to Host Goalkeeping Camp

The Syracuse women's soccer team will host the GK ONE Goalkeeping Camp on March 12 and 13. The camp, for girls and boys ages 10-18, will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at Manley Field House.
The clinic, which is aimed to improve player's goalkeeping skills, will include instruction from Syracuse head coach Phil Wheddon , who served as goalkeeper coach and assistant coach for the U.S. Women's National Team when it won the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In addition, Wheddon coached the goalkeepers for the U.S. Men's National Team from 2005-06.
