Still Time To Register For Soccer Camps

There are still openings for the 2011 Syracuse University Boys and Junior Orange Summer Soccer Camps. Interested campers can reserve their spot by registering online or by printing out and returning the attached camp brochure(s).
Both camps will be held on the Syracuse University campus. The Boys Soccer Camp runs from July 17-21. It's open to boys ages 10-19 and the cost is $530 for overnight campers and $395 for commuters. All campers receive a T-Shirt and hand-sewn soccer ball. Teams with 10 or more players attending are eligible for the team rate, which is $505 for residents and $370 for commuters.
Orange head coach Ian McIntyre is the camp director. His staff includes assistants Jukka Masalin and Mike Miller as well as several other local college coaches
For goalkeepers, Miller developed the Syracuse Soccer Goalkeeper Academy. Attendees receive specialized instruction, including technical, tactical, physical and psychological training specific to the position complemented with highly-competitive game situations.
The 2011 Junior Orange Summer Soccer Camp complements the Syracuse Boys Soccer Camp and runs from July 18-21. The Junior Orange Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-12. Campers can choose from the full-day program, which runs from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and costs $180, or the half-day program which runs from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and costs $125. Sessions include skills training, tournaments and small-sided games, as well as supervised swimming.
