
Torbey Joins Sports Medicine Staff

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Andrea Torbey, a 2007 graduate of Florida State University, has joined the Syracuse University Sports Medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer. Torbey will work with the Orange women's soccer team.
Prior to coming to Syracuse, Torbey served as assistant athletic trainer/head women's athletic trainer at North Alabama in 2010. She was a graduate assistant at Alabama from 2008-10, and worked as an intern for the United States Olympic Committee in Lake Placid, N.Y. in 2009.
Torbey earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Florida State in 2007 and a master's degree in general human environmental studies/sports management from Alabama in 2010.
