Orange Adds Two to Men's Soccer Roster

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse men's soccer coach Ian McIntyre welcomed two new student-athletes to campus to start the spring semester. Noah Rhynhart and Morgan Smith both completed high school in December to enroll early at Syracuse.
"We are delighted to welcome these two outstanding young men into our SU family," McIntyre said. "Morgan and Noah have both excelled in the classroom and on the soccer field. They personify the qualities that we are looking for in student-athletes here at Syracuse University."

Noah Rhynhart, Forward, Albany, N.Y.
Named one of the top 150 recruits in the nation by ESPN Rise ... Played high school soccer at the Doane Stuart School in Rensselaer, N.Y. ... Earned Capital District II All-Star honors and currently is a semifinalist for the prestigious National Achievement Scholarship Program ... Played club soccer for Blackwatch Midlothian where he was teammates with Morgan Smith ... Led the team to the 2011 state club championship ... Also a member of the 2011 Super Y-League ODP Select Team.
McIntyre on Rhynhart: "Noah is an elusive, athletic attacking player who has the potential to provide us with a cutting edge in the final third. He has a great habit of finding a way onto the scoresheet and we hope that continues here at Syracuse."Â Â
