SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The 2012-13 edition of Syracuse women's basketball is now three weeks into preseason practices as it prepares for its season opener on Nov. 11 at the Carrier Dome against Fairleigh Dickinson.
Head Coach Quentin Hillsman's Orange looks to be an exciting unit in 2012-13 as it returns four starters from last season's 22-15 overall WNIT semifinalist squad, including All-BIG EAST center Kayla Alexander, and welcomes five freshmen, including two McDonald's All-Americans, that comprise the sixth-best recruiting class in the nation.
