SYRACUSE, N.Y. -Â Syracuse field hockey seniors Kelsey Millman and Leann Stiver have been selected to participate in the 2012 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Senior Game, it was announced on Wednesday. The duo helps lead the No. 3 Orange into this weekend's BIG EAST Championship as the top seed.

Millman, a forward from Center Valley, Pa., has been the leader of the Syracuse offense in 2012, posting a team-best 11 goals and 28 points heading into the conference tournament. She enters the weekend ninth all-time in program history with 88 career points on 34 goals and 20 assists. Millman led the BIG EAST in points in 2011 with 51 and tied for the league-lead in goals with teammate Heather Susek (19). In 2011, she garnered first-team All-BIG EAST, first-team All-Region and third-team All-America honors.

Stiver, a goalkeeper from Amherst, N.Y., has been the Orange started between the pipes all four years of her career, posting a 59-14 record with a 1.09 goals against average, second-best in SU career history, and 20 shutouts, fourth-most in SU history. In 2012, Stiver has gone 16-1 with a 0.82 goals against mark, ranking second in the country. Her eight shutouts on the season is tied for most in the country, two of which came against the top-two scoring teams in the country – No. 1 North Carolina and No. 2 Princeton.

The NFHCA selected 38 student-athletes for the Division I Senior Game, which will be played Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. as part of Final Four weekend at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. Players from teams playing in the Final Four will not participate in the senior game.
