Simon Earns BIG EAST Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Syracuse freshman Erin Simon has been named to the BIG EAST Women's Soccer Honor Roll announced on Monday, Oct. 8 for her performance in the Orange's 2-0 victory against Pittsburgh.
Simon broke a scoreless tie with her third goal of the season in the 76th minute for her second game-winning goal in 2012. Her goal helped the Orange extend its winning streak to four and improve its record to 5-1-1 in BIG EAST play.
Syracuse goes on the road for the final time during the regular season this weekend when it takes on South Florida on Friday, Oct. 12 and at Marquette on Sunday, Oct. 14.
