Future Orange Named to National Team

CHICAGO – Incoming goalie Alexander Bono and midfielder Stefanos Stamoulacatos were recently named to the United States U-18 National Team for the squad's upcoming training camp. The camp takes place from March 25 – April 1 in Carson City, Calif. Each player is age eligible for the 2012 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
This will be the second time Stamoulacatos has been played for the U.S. this year. He was a member of the 2012 United States U-19 National Team that competed in the U-19 Stuggart Junior Cup in Germany back in January.
Bono was recently named the U.S. Soccer Development Academy's Player of the Week on March 22. Bono led his club team, Empire United, to 1-0-1 weekend and allowed only two goals.

Both Stamoulacatos and Bono previously earned U.S. Soccer Development Academy East Conference Starting XI honors as members of Empire United.
