
Butler, Sykes In McDonald's Game Tonight

CHICAGO - Syracuse women's basketball 2012 NLI signees Brianna Butler and Brittney Sykes will play in the McDonald's All-American Game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
Butler, a 6-0 guard from Nazareth High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Sykes, a 5-9 guard from University High School in Newark, N.J., are two of just 24 players nationally selected for the McDonald's All-American Game. They will both play for the East squad in the nationally televised game.
The pair headline a five-member incoming freshman class for Quentin Hillsman ranked as the sixth-best recruiting class in the country by ESPN Hoopgurlz.
SU men's basketball signee DaJuan Coleman, a 6-10 center from Jamesville-Dewitt High School, will play in the McDonald's boy's game, starting at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Both games are being played at the United Center in Chicago.
The week's events began on Monday with the Powerade Jam Fest, including a skills competition, 3-point shooting contest and dunk contest. Sykes competed both the skills competition and the dunk competition. The Awards Dinner was held on Tuesday, honoring the selected players.
