Murray Earns BIG EAST Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Syracuse sophomore Alyssa Murray has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her performance in the Orange's victory against Harvard. It marks the second time this season she has earned a spot on the weekly honor roll.
Murray played a part in half of Syracuse's goals, recording a team-high five points on four goals and an assist in a 10-6 win against Harvard at Gillette Stadium. She had a goal and an assist during Syracuse's 5-0 scoring run in the first half that gave the Orange a 6-2 halftime lead. After Harvard cut the SU's lead to two with 22:02 to play, Murray scored two of Syracuse's final three goals to seal the victory. Murray is Syracuse's leading goal scorer this season with 21.
No. 2/3 Syracuse returns to conference play when it takes on No. 6/6 Notre Dame on Thursday at 7 p.m. in South Bend, Ind.
