
Field Hockey Rises in National Rankings

Up to No. 10 in the coaches' poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University field hockey team moved up three spots in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll and is now ranked No. 10 in the country, the NFHCA announced on Tuesday.

Following victories against then-No. 5 Louisville and Cornell this past weekend, Syracuse rose three spots from last week in the coaches' poll. The club owns a 10-3 overall record and has been ranked in the coaches' poll in every ranking release to date this season.

The Orange also moved up in the most recent NCAA Division I Field Hockey RPI Rankings. SU was ranked No. 13 in the nation in the latest rankings, a four-spot increase from the previous week.

Syracuse will take on No. 13 Wake Forest on the road in its next contest. The game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. in Winston-Salem, N.C.
