
Brooks Selected to Play in NFHCA Senior Game

Ranks fifth in program history with 37 career goals
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior forward Lauren Brooks of the No. 7 Syracuse University field hockey team was selected to participate in the 2014 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game, the NFHCA announced on Wednesday morning.

The annual game will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22 on the campus of the University of Maryland in College Park, Md. The game is slated to begin at 3 p.m.

One of Syracuse's all-time leading scorers, Brooks is capping off a fabulous four-year career as a member of the Syracuse University field hockey team. Brooks currently ranks fifth in program history with 37 career goals. She also ranks 13th with 84 career points on 37 goals and 10 assists. This year, the Lancaster, Pa. native has 18 points on eight goals and two assists.

Brooks and the Syracuse field hockey team will wrap up their regular season on Saturday at Massachusetts. The game is set to start at 1 p.m. in Amherst, Mass.
