Vote for the junior keeper in the 2014 MAC Hermann Fan Poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – After a standout 2014 season, goalkeeper Alex Bono is in the running for the most prestigious award in collegiate soccer, the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy.
Bono was the only goalie included on the list of 16 semifinalists, which was released earlier this week, and he needs your help to reach the next stage of the award.
Fan voting will help determine this year's three finalists. The winner of the fan poll receives one additional vote when the Division I men's soccer coaches cast their ballots for this year's top player.
The ACC Defensive Player of the Year, Bono set the Orange single-season records for goals-against average (0.55), shutouts (12) and minutes played (1,949). Along with the single-season records, Bono is currently ranked in the top 10 in every career goalkeeping category at Syracuse.
Fans can vote now through Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 5 p.m. (EST).
