Orange's Spring Schedule Includes WNY Flash

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's soccer squad will host the Western New York (WNY) Flash at the SU Soccer Stadium on Saturday, April 5 as part of its spring schedule. The WNY Flash is the defending NWSL regular-season champion.
"For our team to continue to develop we must play against the best competition possible," SU head coach Phil Wheddon said. "Playing against the Flash provides us with a unique opportunity to test our skills against professional players. We are very fortunate to be able to play a game of this caliber in the spring season."
General admission is free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. The capacity of the SU Soccer Stadium is 1,500.
Gates at the SU Soccer Stadium open at 1 p.m. The Orange will take on the WNY Flash at 2 p.m. The Flash will then face Colgate at 3 p.m. before Syracuse and the Raiders meet at 4 p.m.
The Orange's spring schedule also includes matches at Binghamton at 1 p.m. on March 29 and at Albany on April 12. Syracuse concludes its spring slate on April 26 when it hosts Canisius.
