Incoming women's soccer freshmen Courtney Brosnan and Jessica Vigna led Players Development Academy (PDA) of New Jersey to the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) under-18 national championship in Seattle, Washington. It marks the second consecutive title PDA. Brosnan also played on PDA's USYS U15 national championship team.
The squad won the title after playing five games over six days, beginning with four groups of four teams playing a round-robin format. The winners of each group matched up in the semifinals. PDA, which won all of its games in pool play, defeated San Diego Surf SC 2-0 to advance to the championship match, where it beat the Michigan Hawks, 2-1.
