Orange ranked 18th in both major college soccer polls
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse men's soccer team continued its ascent in the national polls on Tuesday, Sept. 23. The Orange moved up five spots in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) rankings and re-entered the Soccer America Men's Top 25 after not being ranked last week.

Syracuse earned 189 points in the NSCAA poll to go from No. 23 last week up to No. 18 this week. The Orange also claimed the 18th spot in this week's Soccer America rankings.
UCLA holds the No. 1 spot in both polls. Virginia, Notre Dame, UC Irvine and New Mexico make the up the top five in the coaches' poll. In the Soccer America rankings, the Bruins are followed in the top five by Notre Dame, Virginia, Washington and New Mexico.
Syracuse is back in action tonight against Binghamton. The Orange and Bearcats square off at 7 p.m. at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
