Syracuse Stays #1, Welcomes Two Ranked Opponents this Weekend

Orange set to host No. 6 Wake Forest and No. 19 Princeton this weekend.
After wins over No. 11 Louisville and Indiana, the Syracuse field hockey team retained its No. 1 ranking in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Poll for the second-straight week.
'Cuse will welcome a pair of ranked opponents this weekend to J.S. Coyne Stadium. No. 6 Wake Forest will visit Syracuse on Saturday and No. 19 Princeton comes to town on Sunday in the regular-season home finale. The team will also honor its four seniors prior to Sunday's contest.
The Orange received 847 points and 22 first-place votes, 26 points ahead of No. 2 UConn, which received 13 first-place votes. North Carolina remains the third-ranked team with 780 points and nine first-place votes.
Duke (707) and Virginia (635) sit in fourth and fifth respectively, while all-seven ACC schools remain in the top-13 of the poll, as they have in every week of the 2015 season.

Syracuse and Wake Forest will get underway at 1 p.m. on Saturday, with Sunday's game against Princeton scheduled for a 3 p.m. start, with senior day activities scheduled prior.
