Orange Jumps Six Spots in NSCAA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Syracuse continues its climb in the national polls, moving up six spots to No. 16 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) men's rankings released on Tuesday, Oct. 13. It marks the Orange's highest ranking in the NSCAA poll during the regular season.
Syracuse battled No. 2 North Carolina last weekend in Chapel Hill. The Orange took an early lead when freshman Miles Robinson found the back of the net on a header in the 23rd minute. The Tar Heels tied the score in the 74th minute before tallying the game-winner in the 83rd minute for the 2-1 victory. Syracuse had won its previous five matches heading into the North Carolina contest.
The Orange begin a four-game homestand tonight when it hosts Bowling Green at 7 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. Syracuse is 5-0-1 on its home pitch this season.
