KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Syracuse sophomore Julian Buescher has been voted to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-America Second Team. It marks just the second time in program history that the Orange has had an All-America honoree in back-to-back seasons. Overall, he becomes the eighth Syracuse player to earn All-America accolades.
Buescher leads the team and ranks seventh in the nation in assists with 11. That total ranks third on Syracuse's single-season record list. In addition, he is second on the team in points (27) and goals (8). Buescer, who had a string of nine consecutive matches with a least one point, is a semifinalist for the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy. He was voted to the All-ACC First Team and ACC All-Tournament Team.
