Robinson, Hilpert Honored by College Soccer News

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Miles Robinson has been named to College Soccer News All-Freshman First Team, while Hendrik Hilpert was selected to the All-Freshman Second Team.

Robinson started all 25 matches for the Orange in 2015. The defender helped Syracuse record nine shutouts. Robinson also tied for third on the team with four goals. He was voted to the ACC All-Freshman Team and was a member of the ACC All-Tournament Team. In addition, Robinson was a member of TopDrawerSoccer.com's Freshman Best XI First Team.

Hilpert started the final 16 matches of the season in goal for Syracuse. He allowed just one goal in four matches in the ACC Tournament and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Hilpert recorded shutouts in four of the final six contests of the season, including the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals and semifinals. He finished the year with a 0.78 goals-against average, a .723 save percentage and six shutouts.

Syracuse posted a record of 16-5-4 this season. The 16 victories was just one shy of the single-season school record. The Orange won the program's first ACC Championship and earned a program-best sixth seed in the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse advanced to the College Cup for the first time school history.
