Syracuse goes for a season sweep of Boston College in Chestnut Hill.

Syracuse and Boston College will meet for the second this season when the Orange travels to Chestnut Hill, Mass. on Wednesday, Feb. 11. The teams will square off at 7 p.m.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (15-8, 6-4)
1. All five starters reached double figures in scoring in the first meeting with Boston College. Junior Michael Gbinije led the way with 17 points, while redshirt junior Trevor Cooney had 15. Freshman Caleb Joseph scored nine of his 13 points from the free throw line and recorded seven assists while turning the ball over just once. Syracuse trailed early in the contest but put together runs of 20-3 and 11-0 to take a 35-17 lead at halftime. The Eagles came back in the second half and cut the deficit to six with 25 seconds remaining, but Cooney and Joseph combined for four free throws in the final seconds to give SU a 69-61 victory.
2. Senior Rakeem Christmas continues to lead the ACC in scoring, averaging 18.5 points per game. He recorded his third consecutive double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, including a career-high 11 on the defensive end, at Pittsburgh.
3. Syracuse has dominated its opponents in the paint this season. The Orange is averaging 34.0 points per game in the paint, while its foes are averaging 24.4. In the first meeting with Boston College, Syracuse outscored the Eagles, 30-12, on the inside.

What to Watch For – Boston College (9-13, 1-9)
1. The Eagles enter Wednesday's game on a four-game losing streak and have lost six of its last seven games. Their one win in that span was a 64-62 victory at Georgia Tech for its only ACC triumph of the season.
2. Oliver Hanlan leads Boston College and ranks fourth in the ACC in scoring, averaging 17.5 points per game. He hit three of the Eagles' 10 three-pointers in the first meeting between the two schools. Aaron Brown led Boston College with 21 points when the Eagles visited the Dome in January.
3. Jim Christian is in his first season at the helm of the Boston College program. He served as the head coach at Ohio for the past two seasons where he led the Bobcats to a record of 49-22 and a Mid-American Conference regular-season title.

THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with Boston College, 42-24. The teams met twice last season for the first time since 2005 with each team winning on the other's home court.
