Women's Basketball Ranks #25 in AP Poll

Has appeared in the top 25 of the AP Poll in 15 straight releases
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's basketball remained among the top 25 in the latest Associated Press Poll, checking in at No. 25. Syracuse has appeared in the top 25 of the AP Poll in every ranking release to date this season.

The Orange dropped out of the top 25 in the most recent USA Today Coaches Poll, but received the most votes out of teams not ranked in the top 25. Syracuse received 51 votes, seven votes shy of Texas, who ranks No. 25 in the latest coaches' poll.

Last week, Syracuse suffered a loss to Miami and rebounded with a road victory at Virginia Tech. Junior guard Brianna Butler scored 19 points in each outing and is now five 3-point field goals shy of the program career record.

The club is back in action on Thursday night when it hosts Boston College at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. General admission tickets are only $1 on game day for the contest against the Eagles. For more information, call 1-888-DOMETIX.
