SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse ends a three-game homestand on Saturday, Feb. 21 when it hosts Pittsburgh. Tip off is set for noon.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (17-9, 8-5)
1. Senior Rakeem Christmas enjoyed a near perfect night in Syracuse's win against Louisville. He was 9-for-10 from the field and 11-for-13 from the free throw line. His 29 points tie for 11th place on Syracuse's single-game record list for points by a center. Christmas now has 976 points and needs just 24 more to become the 59th player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
2. Redshirt junior Trevor Cooney needs one more three-point field goal to move into a tie for ninth place on Syracuse's all-time three-point field goal leader list. Cooney has converted on 174 three-point attempts, one shy of DeShaun Williams' 175 (1999-02).
3. Junior Michael Gbinije is now ranked in the top 10 in the ACC in two categories. He is sixth in steals, averaging 1.68 per game, and 10th in turnover/assist ratio (1.85). In addition, Gbinije ranks 21st in the league in scoring (13.1 ppg.).

What to Watch For – Pittsburgh (17-10, 6-7)
1. Pittsburgh faces off against Syracuse for the second time this season after previously beating the Orange in their first matchup. The Panthers have lost two of their last three, including a 61-49 setback at Virginia on Monday.
2. Jamel Artis and Michael Young are Pittsburgh's two leading scorers, averaging 13.0 and 12.8 points per game, respectively. James Robinson is ranked third in the ACC in assists and is the team's third-leading scorer, averaging 9.8 points per game. In addition, Artis ranks in the top 10 in the ACC for free throw percentage (.796) and three-point field goal percentage (.418).
3. Jamie Dixon is in his 16th season at Pittsburgh and 12th as head coach. During his tenure at Pittsburgh, Dixon has earned four Coach of the Year awards and has guided the Panthers to 10 NCAA Tournament appearances. He is one of nine coaches to get to 100 wins in his first four seasons.

Syracuse leads the all-time series with Pittsburgh, 65-40. The Panthers snapped a three-game losing streak to the Orange with an 83-77 victory on its home court on Feb. 7. Senior Rakeem Christmas had a double-double in that contest with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
