Orange Ends Spring Season Undefeated

Syracuse defeated Binghamton, 2-0, on Friday to end its spring season undefeated. Neither team could find the back of the net in the first half, but Eva Gordon and Maya Pitts tallied goals in the after intermission to give the Orange the victory.
Syracuse hosted a 7v7 split-squad scrimmage with Colgate and Binghamton on February 27. Both the Syracuse Orange and Syracuse Blue teams defeated their respective Colgate and Buffalo opponents before facing each other in the finals. Syracuse Blue ended up with the tournament finals win.
On April 12, Syracuse went to Buffalo to play two 50-minute back-to-back matches against Division II national champion Grand Valley State and MAC champion and NCAA Tournament participant Buffalo. Syracuse defeated GVSU, 2-1, with goals from Jessica Vigna and Alexis Koval. The Orange tied Buffalo 0-0.
