
Lynch Joins the Rams

'Cuse linebacker is the 12th former member of the Orange to join Rams organization
Syracuse linebacker Cameron Lynch inked a free agent deal with the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, making him the latest member of the Orange to join the NFL ranks.

The All-ACC Third Team selection led the Orange this past season in tackles (97), tackles for loss (12.0), and sacks (7.0). His 97 tackles ranked as a career-high, and he also led Syracuse in tackles seven different times this season.

Lynch, a team captain, was also named to the ECAC All-Star Team after leading the Orange in a number of defensive categories. He earned the Bill Horr Award for Most Valuable Player at the senior banquet this year.

An ACC Postgraduate Scholarship recipient for this work in the classroom, Lynch becomes the 12th Syracuse player to join the Rams organization, most recently offensive lineman Quinn Qjinnaka was there for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

The Lawrenceville, Georgia native joins teammates Sean Hickey, who signed with the New Orleans Saints, Dyshawn Davis, who signed with the Washington Redskins, Eric Crume, who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Durell Eskridge, who signed with the New York Jets in becoming members of the 2014 Orange to ink NFL free agent contracts.
Tickets for the 2015 season are available online, by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games by calling the Ticket Sales office (443-3212).
