SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The list of accolades for Syracuse's Kayla Treanor continues to grow as she has been named Inside Lacrosse's Attacker of the Year. She led the Orange to the national semifinals for the fourth straight year and to its first ACC Tournament title.
Â
Treanor tied for fifth in the nation in scoring with 91 points. She led the team with 61 goals. Treanor was a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award as well as the Honda Award for the second consecutive season. The rising senior earned her third IWLCA All-America First Team honor and her second straight IWLCA Attacker of the Year award. Treanor, who shared last year's Inside Lacrosse Attacker of the Year award with teammate Alyssa Murray, was the ACC Offensive Player of the Year and earned the MVP award at the ACC Tournament after scoring game-winning goals in overtime in the quarterfinals and final.
Â
Next season Treanor will begin her final campaign for the Orange ranked fourth on Syracuse's career record lists for points (303), goals (210) and assists (93). She is just the fourth player in school history with 300 points and 200 goals in her career.
