CHICAGO – Freshman Miles Robinson is one of 36 players on the roster for the first U-20 Men's National Team Camp of 2016 in Miami. The group will compete to qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Korea Republic, which runs May-June of 2017.
Robinson was a key contributor to the Orange's success in 2015, which included the program's first ACC Championship and trip to the College Cup. He started all 25 matches on Syracuse's defense, which recorded nine shutouts. Robinson also tied for third on the squad with four goals. He earned ACC All-Freshman Team honors and was voted to the ACC All-Tournament Team. In addition, Robinson was a member of College Soccer News' All-Freshman First Team as well as TopDrawerSoccer.com's Freshman Best XI First Team.
The camp will include four matches, beginning with Jan. 8 contests against a local all-star team, CASA, and Weston FC of the NPSL. The U.S. will also play two matches on Jan. 12. All matches will be played at Barry University.
