11/15/2016 11:15:00 AM | Men's Soccer
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Orange head men's soccer coach Ian McIntyre has extended an exciting offer to students for Sunday's second-round NCAA Tournament match between Syracuse (11-3-4) and either Dartmouth (8-4-5) or St. Francis (Brooklyn) (12-4-3). Instead of paying $5 for a ticket, the first 250 Syracuse University students in attendance will receive free admission, courtesy of McIntyre and the Syracuse soccer program.
Â
Students wishing to take advantage of McIntyre's offer should report to the student ticket booth outside the SU Soccer Stadium by 1:45 p.m. and present a valid Syracuse University ID card.
Â
Gates open at 1 p.m. and all fans are encouraged to arrive early for the 2 p.m. kickoff. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 18 and under. Â Â Â Â Â
Â
As the No. 8 seed, Syracuse earned a bye in the tournament's first round. It marks the third consecutive season that the Orange has hosted an NCAA Tournament match.
Syracuse is averaging nearly 1,500 fans per home game and drawn more than 1,000 fans nine times this season.
