Orange Earn Highest In-Season Ranking

Syracuse ranked No. 11 nationally in AP Poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's basketball team earned its highest in-season ranking in program history when it was ranked No. 11 nationally in the Associated Press Poll, as announced on Monday afternoon.
Syracuse is ranked No. 18 in the country in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, following its 62-61 loss at Drexel on Monday night.
The Orange face one of their toughest stretches of the 2016-17 campaign, starting on Friday night with a contest against 2016 NCAA Tournament participant George Washington at the Gulf Coast Showcase. Syracuse could potentially face No. 8/8 Ohio State and No. 5/6 Baylor or No. 18/17 DePaul in Estero, Fla.
The team returns to the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome on Wednesday, Nov. 30 when it hosts No. 24/19 Michigan State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
