SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse head men's soccer coach Ian McIntyre has announced the hiring of Todd Cook as Director of Soccer Operations. He will assist and support the Orange coaching staff with all logistical and operational needs of the team.
Â
"Todd is a wonderful addition to our soccer staff," McIntyre said. "He possesses a remarkable work ethic and a contagious energy and enthusiasm. He is well respected in our Syracuse community and will help us continue to build and develop strong ties with our wonderful local fan base and our alumni group."
Â
Cook played for LeMoyne College from 1998-2001. He graduated in May 2002 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and earned his MBA from LeMoyne in 2004. Cook is currently an 8th and 9th grade business teacher at North Syracuse Junior High School and the director of coaching at the Northstars Soccer Club.
Â
Syracuse is coming off a historic season in 2015. The Orange won 16 matches, just one shy of the school record, and claimed their first ACC Championship. Syracuse earned a program-best sixth seed in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the College Cup for the first time in school history.
